In an important speech he made yesterday at the opening ceremony of the Forum, President Ismail Omar Guelleh said that through this initiative, China proposes the promotion and construction of a new kind of relationship. international organizations and a community of destiny for humanity.
"It stands for mutual respect, equal consultation, openness, inclusiveness and reciprocal benefits," he said before adding: "China also stresses, on one approach of global governance characterized by the principle of "dialogue, synergy and sharing", aiming to promote connectivity worldwide.
For the Djibouti Head of State, this is a new way of relations between states based on dialogue and partnership that opens here. "This approach supports, in his view, the multilateral trading system and promotes a more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial economic globalization for all".
It should be noted that President Xi Jinping's initiative, called the Silk Belt and Road, aims to connect the world for better international cooperation.
Since its launch, this initiative has been the major event of modern times in terms of its economic and commercial dimensions.
