Djibouti - Vietnam: Strengthening multifaceted cooperation 


Djibouti's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, who is in Beijing, China, during the 2nd "Belt and Road" Forum, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Djiboutian minister said it was essential that the two countries could coordinate their efforts in multilateral forums and international organizations, including the United Nations and the International Organization of La Francophonie.

At the end of the talks, Djibouti and Vietnam agreed to strengthen multi-faceted cooperation, especially in the economic field, and to encourage their companies to study the market and investment opportunities of the other.
