Jordan - World Economic Forum : The President of the Republic participated in the work of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa in Amman, Jordan 

The Head of State, Mr. Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, took part today, along with a number of his peers from around the world, in the work of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and Africa of North to Amman, Jordan. An important delegation including, among others, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, and his colleague of the Economy and Finance, Mr. Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh, accompanies the Head of State within the framework participation in the work of this forum. It is important to note that the 2019 edition of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, which started in Amman (Jordan), differs from the previous ones, which were held in Davos (Switzerland) .  In the margins of his participation in the work of the World Economic Forum, the President of the Republic will meet with the King of Jordan, His Majesty Abdullah II. President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh will also meet in Amman the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab. Issues related to the stability of the Middle East and North Africa region and the opportunities for both parties to start a genuine economic partnership are among the issues on the agenda of the Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to the Palestinian question, the participants of the forum will discuss the latest developments in Syria and Libya, two countries (one from North Africa, the other from the Middle East) at the center of the international community. The Republic of Djibouti, faithful to its principles of peace and tolerance, intends to make its contribution to all initiatives aimed at helping these two countries, brothers and friends, to return to stability. At the end of his stay in Jordan, the head of state will visit Kigali where, at the invitation of his Rwandan counterpart, Mr. Paul Kagame, he will attend the ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of the genocide. touched this country during the 90s. President Guelleh will take part in the festivities marking the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide alongside some thirty heads of state and government from around the world. Finally, note that the visit to Kigali of the Head of State will be an opportunity to talk with his Rwandan counterpart on ways and means to further enhance the privileged relations of cooperation between our two countries.
